Bannon
I need to level of an existing dirt/rubble floor in order to lay some old terracota that I have in what will be our utility room. Originally these had been laid down on some sort of lime mix I suppose. Question.... what sort of 'mix' should I use to level the floor off before putting them down again? I had thought of perhaps a damp sand n cement mix at maybe 6:1.Cheers guys.
powerdesal
Only my opinion but I would have thought a concrete screed over a dpm would be a starter, then the mortar mix to bed the terracota on to.
