Hoddy
I shall soon be setting off for France and one of the jobs I plan to do on my house this summer is to sand and then treat an acacia wood floor in the living room. The sanding bit is pretty straightforward - I know how & where to hire a belt sander - I've done that before. My question is - what to treat the wood with afterwards ? I don't want it to be like an ice rink or to be too dark.Any suggestions anyone ?Hoddy
Chris Head
Acacia is soooo lovely Hoddy...I'm a little envious! It's naturally a darker timber. Your question is what I'm eluding to in the Danish oil thread. I'm getting cheesed off with oils darkening down lovely timbers too much. Sorry, no answers, just questions. As an aside, I've decided that a hug is the answer to life!
