Nicos
We hope to be moving into our house in Normandy in May/June and intendto travel to France to sign the final documents before that. What I wondered is - do any French companies offer storagefacilities at a reasonable monthly rate ? It would only be a car load(or two) of stuff. Just seems a pity to take the car over empty whenthere is so much to take eventually! Caen and Falaise are the biggest local towns , and we would be sailing to Ouistraham. Thanks.
pogo
Hi. There are storage companies around France, but they are sometimes difficult to find. I have just started a storage business, sadly too far from you,I'm in the Limousin, and would charge €50 per week for 15m3,which is a large van load,or €85 for 30m3 which is 3 bed house size. Hope this helps you with your pricing,at least.(and a free plug for me[Www]. pogo
Wozza
Try looking up 'garde-meubles' in pages jaune - they are out there. We pay significantly more than the gentleman in the Limousin charges and have about 50m3 in storage.
Nicos
Thanks- will do !It'll only be for about 4-6 weeks (and a van load size storage would beabout right)so it's bound to be cheaper than an extra trip by caracross the Channel!
