Mr Bricolage returns policy

It may very from branch to branch but B&Q and Homebase it is not!!  IE,  you cannot take back your surplus paint. wallpaper etc after a few months and get a refund.

The returns policy is normally shown by the till, at our local M. B, faulty goods must be returned within 8 days in original packaging and with the receipt.  They will give you a refund if you can convince them that you do not want another of what you have bought or they will change the item if is not  marked.  I took back a external light in which the glass had exploded after fitting, but because it had been fixed to the wall and the paint marked with the screws, they took a brand new one apart to get the glass off it rather than just change the light. However, this policy may vary from shop to shop and manager to manager.

Our experience (although with Castorama) reflects what RA says about Bricomarche.  We bought a mower 9 days ago.  It worked the first time but would not start again.  We took it back today.  The guy in the SAV actually gave us a new one - but wrote yesterday's date on his paperwork.  He told us that we had, in theory, been a day late in taking it back and he should therefore have sent it back to the manufacturer to repair.  Happily, he had more sense than his company!
