darnsarf Posted July 23, 2007 Share Posted July 23, 2007 Good stuff for rust removal (certainly for removal off plastic) is Oxalic Acid. You may be able to find it as a branded product (in the UK, its a marine product called Y10) and ideally you need to get it in gel form but if not I think you can buy it from a chemist. No sign of rust now. Simple to use, no scrubbing required.
