Ian
My house needs a completely new electrical installation, so I'm planning how to lay out the tableau. I'd like to put in a lot of separate circuits - this will provide room for growth, plus allow a logical installation. "L'installation Electrique" says for a house this size, I should have four rails (at least) each protected by an Interrupteur Differentiel. The biggest tableau I can see has three rails, so I assume the answer is a second tableau? The next questions are about how to group the different circuits. A. Can I put dedicated circuits (eg dishwasher, oven) that don't require an Interrupteur Differentiel Type A on a rail that is protected by an ID Type A (needed for hob and washing machine)?B. How should I split the remaining circuits? Power-only and lighting-only rails, or mixed rails dedicated to separate parts of the house?I hope these questions make senseThanks
Nick Trollope
The number of ID's you have depends on the size of your property (in SqM) how big is yours (oh errr..).To answer your specific questions;A. YesB. Balance out the consumption as best you can. Don't worry about mixing power and lighting circuits on the same ID.
