cusom made glass for fireplace

We have a fireplace which we are quite happy with,unfortunately it causes a lot of smoke to come into the room. We also use a great deal more wood than our neighbours. The solution we feel would be to have it glazed, we do not wish to install a whole wood burning unit. I know it is possible in the UK to have the glass made to measure. I would appreciate if anyone knows who I can contact for this. We are in the Var. We have of course had the chimney cleaned. Thanks Mags
