Clair
Will
Only a true bureaucrat could see the replacement of one type of permit by three others as a simplification [:D]. Sir Humphrey is alive and well. advising the DDE in France...
Quillan
Can I ask if there is something mor to this. The reason I ask is because we were told (last Friday) by the DDE that if we put our plans forward before the 1st October they will be refused but after that date we stand a better chance under the new rules and like the OP we don't know what the new rules are. In my case it was because we are in a flood area if that helps.
Clair
There are a lot of changes involved and it's impossible to say why a permit would be refused under the old rules and permitted under the new rules without more details about the work required. You can read the gist of the changes here: http://www.urbanisme.equipement.gouv.fr/IMG/pdf/reforme_ads_cle62612f.pdf
