cartref
Hello,I wonder if there is anyone on this Forum that can tell me how to get rid of 2 large empty gas cylinders as we have now installed an immersion heater. Someone said that they may have a return deposit value but I don't know where they originated from. Any help gratefully received!thanks roseysan
Framboise
The local garage where we buy our gas has three different types of gas in the different cylinders which you swap your empty one for a full one (with money of course). Presemueably if you take your empties to somewhere with the same sort of cylinders for sale, then they should be willing to take them back and give a refund as you do pay an initial deposit on them. I've seen lots of garages selling gas, as well as the Bricos etc - should not be a problem.
Bobbykins
Hi, if you just want to get rid of them take them back to a petrol station that sell the make you have, they will not take other brands, but they will only give you money back on them if you have the original receipt when they were bought. Gluestick
Easiest solution: seek out a local Brocante, normally on Sundays.Take all the other junk you don't want: it's very surprising indeed how so many other punters want what you don't! [:D]After two, it's one more to go for us!
