Nick Trollope
Gites de France used to do this, but do they still? You could ask them.
johnycarper
yes you can get a grant from gites of france and it can be up to 80%,but as always in life there not an easy way of getting it.we applied and got a 30 page questioner back, you have to speak very good french and you have to go on a weeks traing course as part of the deal.we did not bother as they also seem to have a lot of input into your business afterwards, but if you have the time and knowledge its worth going for. cooperlola
Johny, there is also a scheme in the Perche Sarthois for renovating traditional farm buildings. It was in the local Sarthe "council" mag a few months back. I will try to find it.Found it, see this thread:http://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/982723/ShowPost.aspx(Sorry, o/p, probably doesn't help you much unless you're around here too!)
