joidevie
Hi everyone ..I'm just about to have my combi boiler 'certificated' by GDF (in a couple of weeks). My plumber has told me I then need to phone then to have a meter fitted by GDF..Question - What's the current situation on gaz de ville prices (Aude) ? Looking at the tariffs I can 'fix' for 1 or 2 years and get a discount on the electricity abonnement..Is there an imminent risk of a price rise like in the UK (up to 22% !) ? If so, if I now 'booked' a meter installation for my next visit (Feb 20th) would I be able to avert a price hike ?Thanks for any suggestions .... Clair
I think you need GDF to install the meter (but not 100% certain on that bit), but as gaz prices are no longer regulated, you can choose your supplier.More info from this comparison site, to enable you to choose: http://www.energie-info.fr/pratique/construction-raccordement-gazAs in the UK, you can choose elctricity + gaz from the same supplier, and fix your prices. It could even be that your gaz supplier can arrange the meter installation too...
