ams
What would the cost of 73 m2 of decking cost. L shaped and about 80cm above the ground with a wooden rail 31m long by 1.20 high. Any estimate would be appreciated. ams
Benjamin
If you Google terrace en bois that should bring up a sponsored link on the left from Shopping France. Click on that and then bois de terrace when that site opens. This is assuming you just want to buy the timber and DIY.

Kitty
Ams: are you in area of France where termites eat everything, especially soft wood planted into the ground? If so, watch out. (I think that you can put the footings onto metal bases, if so.)
LEO
It is likely that "decking wood" will be vacuum treated at the factory and therefore unlikely to suffer from decay!
Geordie girl
We bought direct from the sawmill, pretreated , although we then used a stain preserve, and its solid as a rock; Ams i have PMd you
Gyn_Paul
It is likely that "decking wood" will be vacuum treated at the factory and therefore unlikely to suffer from decay!
It's not a question of 'decay' Leo, it's more one of consumption. The termites in Les Landes will eat through anything in their path pressure treated or not.p
