Paul King
Hi All,We bought a bath from Leroy Merlin's about 6 weeks ago ready for our plumber to fit - he now tells us its the "wrong sort" - does anyone know what Leroy Merlin's return policy is? The bath is still wrapped and untouched and we have the receipt. Many thanksPaul.
Clair
You may well get lucky if you explain that you would like to do an exchange for another model, but legally, they do not have to take it back, offer a refund or an exchange.
Pierre ZFP
They do have a returns policy of I think 28 days but when I returned a large item after about 6 weeks they were very helpful and gave me an exchange which was what I wanted. Just ask them nicely and explain why the delay and I'm sure they'll be fine about it.
Catalpa
We took a shower screen back - because it wasn't as the assistant described it... not that we'd have been able to prove that. I think we took it back over a month later and we had opened the packaging and re-taped it all. We had the receipt etc.L-M (Caen) took it back, offered us credit note or refund (either cash or to our card, can't now remember) and as we had more goods to buy, we took a credit note which we spent that visit. The staff were very helpful and there was no question about whether they would / would not take the item back.

oscar
We've always found them most accommodating with returns. In fact, we've just cancelled an order for a shower tray because they were taking so long to get it and they've even given us a credit note for the deposit we had paid. just john
We bought some stuff last year from Lapeyre (shutter hinges) and only recently got round to fitting to discover that we had the wrong stuff, went back to order the correct spec and were told that if we had the receipt they would fully credit the unused items against the new purchase; in fact they even looked up the purchase on the system and credited the items for the new order. (Guillaume at Perigeaux)[8-|]Read the directions, even if you don’t follow them.
