Ysatis
Hi, We need 9 cubic metres of concrete for our foundations and I know that a lorry holds 6 cubic metres. I was told when we were pricing up concrete that there would be a supplement for part loads but overlooked asking how much the supplement would be. Does anyone know what figure I could be looking at. I'm sure it varies from supplier to supplier, but a rough guide would be handy. I've got a price of 123.46€ per cubic metre plus tax at 19.6% from Reseau Pro, does this seem like a fair price or would somewhere like Point P be better?Regards,
Anton Redman
I normally buy a quarry / yard which mixes it on site rather than the builders merchants. They charge per cubic metre then add a delivery chgarge per lorry based on distance rather than quoting all in . I cannot see why Point P would be any cheaper than Reseau Pro but if you have more loads coming it might be worth checking 'Beton pret a l'emploi' in Yellow Pages and either 'phoning or visiting the nearest two or three. In April I paid Euros 88,14 per cubic metre plus 100,20 delivery for and TVA at 19.6 = 116,40 pre tax but it was a year ago and in the closest delivery zone to their quarry.
