Before we can do anything I need to get plans drawn up and full planning applied for. I have a good idea of what I want - if I draft something, can anyone recommend an architect to tweak my ideas. English speaking and cheap please! Also, how long does this take to apply for? We want to do all the work ourselves so need to start in Autumn during our next visit to France after signing contracts in hopefully May. I know we cant claim materials, labour etc if we should sell but we will probably measure up and make things to fit next time down. If I decide to make for example,French doors wider or narrower into a conservatory than on the approved plans will this be allowed without consultation or is it simply case of don't draw attention to it?
