melmoth
Hi,Having just invested in front and back glass doors I'm thinking of putting in roll down metal shutters for security - does anyone have any knowledge of this or of suitable French companies that supply such shutters? In advance many thanksBrendan
cassis
There are hundreds, if not thousands, of companies who install roller shutters. Just do a search in Yellow Pages for "volets roulants" in your department or town.Pages Jaune
Jonzjob
We had some fitted just before christmas by a franchised national firm. They measured the 3 mezzanine windows, all slightly different sizes, divided the overall by 3 and fitted 3 shutters all the same size. The window is like a half high triple patio door thingy. We didn't realise until the work was done and now we have some nice shutters that don't line up with the window frames and the company will do sod all about it. They just say that there is not much difference. If you would like the name of the company PM me? We also wanted the shutters to be bronze and silly us really imagined that the runners and the coffres would be the same, but no, they are dark brown. Once again hard luck. They have the money and that's all they are interested in. Not quite though. After 2 letters to the company and their franchise company bosses they are now going to fit a strip on the runners that will hide the join where the runners in the middle have been fitted back to back? Not something we asked for even?
