dragonrouge
We live in the Vendee near to Fontenay le Comte and have received permission to demolish an existing hangar and which was used for parking of coaches and taxis. We now need an quotation for demolishing the hangar and whilst I understand direct recommendations if anyone has previous experience of artisans or the like who could take this down for us then we would bhe very grateful. Perhaps any recommendations should come by pmrdgs and thanks
Benjamin
If you look in pages jaunes under Démolition there are a couple in Fontenay.
Kitty
Everyone told us to demolish our hangar as it was falling down - it really was on its last legs. Builder upon builder said that it would have to go (in 2004).I eventually found a carpenter (charpentier, if I remember the French correctly) who saved it - he put a whole load of new wood into it, particularly the props, and changed the roofing so that it was lighter. I am delighted with the results as we garage our cars and keep in it: bikes, car roof box, deliveries of wood, children's toys, hammocks, garden chairs and tables, barbecue, lawn mower etc etc. I wouldn't be without it now.
