Permission Required?

We have completed some internal renovations to our first floor bedroom which we received permission from the DDE. The original request was to make good a 'soil flooring' and use the loft bpace as an extra bedroom.

As part of this first floor bedroom renovation, we wish to add a new bathroom adjacent to the bedroom.

Do we need to obtain permission to fit a new bathroom?  There are no external windows to be added, it essentially is an 'en suite' addition.

The mairie has responded with a 'yes go ahead', but just want to make sure that this internal work will not come back to bite me.

NB: I had to declare to the tax office the new space created so they could uplift my taxe F & H.

No, provided you are not making external changes, then you do not need further permission. You should tell the HdeI, as the bathroom will be "taxable".
