Mog Posted July 10, 2008 Share Posted July 10, 2008 HiMy first posting on this site. My partner and I are in the process of buying a plot of land with planning permission already granted. It turns out that the plans drawn up for the planning application were not done by an architect but by the wife of the local mason. The plans were then checked and approved by an architect before being submitted. We wish to make some modifications plus we will need detailed plans before commencing work (some of which we will do ourselves).So, we were wondering if this is normal practice? Val_2 Posted July 10, 2008 Share Posted July 10, 2008 If you are going for the full Permis de Construire and the project is over 170m² then you must have a french registered architect involved with both plans and paperwork.
