Bannon
Anyone know if it's possible to use French fitting on UK bath taps. The fitting I tried seems the same size but also seems a bit loose, and really I do not fancy wrapping loads of tape round the thread. I did hear mention that it was possible to buy some sort of 'thread converter' - off the internet it seems.Should have got French baths taps I know but the Mrs likes the UK ones argghh! Anton Redman
Castorama and B & Q sell the same items in France and England. Ditto Brossette and Bathrooms.Com ( Both part of the Wolseley Group) .

trees 2
But ARE they the same, and not the same tap body with different valves?
Anton Redman
Same part number, same instructions, same manufacturer. At the time I first started looking even at only 7 Francs to the Pound fittigns were cheaper in France. A couple of the really expensive bathroom shops oon the Kings Road had accounts at Leroy Merlin in Bordeaux.
