thunderhorse
I'm starting some pointing tomorrow, but on checking, realised I was out of chaux blanche. But, I've a bag of freshly-opened Lutece 2000L (long duration) which I use for filling big gaps etc.Out of interest, would the Lutece mixed with sand produce a viable pointing mix? Anybody tried it?Cheers [B]
Mutiara
NO! Lutece 2000 is an interior finishing plaster and is not suitable. It would attract moisture like a sponge and be a complete bodge if you tried to point with it.

That info may help somebody else as well. [:D]
