La Guerriere
We are planning the amenagement de combles, and I am trying to get my head round approximate costs [+o(]. Anybody out there got a reasonable handle on unit rates (per square metre) for:a) Drylining walls (probably BA13 plasterboard plus insulation on steel rail montant cos the walls are very wibbly)b) Partition walls (BA13 / rail and montant / BA13 with insulation)c) Ceiling structure of 150 x 50 joists, T&G on the top, BA13 plasterboard underneath, insulation in between)My gut feelings are something like 40 Euros / 80 Euros / 120 Euros but all ideas welcome

Anton Redman
I do not think you are too far a drift. If access is poor a man day can easily disappear just getting the materials into the area.
La Guerriere
Good point. It's no problem getting the rails etc and joists up the stairs, but it will be a bit of a struggle getting sheets of plasterboard in and the windows are not wide enough ..... Clair
We resolved that problem by cutting a slot in the ceiling where the stairs will eventually be built. The slit is wider and larger than the standard plasterboard sheet and between us two, we managed to push and pull about 100 sheets of flooring and plasterboard.
