Dave
When I wire up my kitchen I would like to use wired socket outlets or ' plaque sortie cable' for connecting oven, dishwasher, fridge etc. However unlike the UK they are not switched so the only way to isolate these units is at the fuse board. Is this correct or do they need a local isolator switch and if so which type?Regards,Dave
tj
HiAll white goods and kitchen appliances must be terminated at the fuseboard, ie, each must have its own seperate supply. Plaque sortie is not acceptable for cooker or hob, according to a recent conseil inspection, and each has to have the corresponding plug and socket. Fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, etc are generally required to have ther own 20amp supply.good luck
