Will
This site tells you all you need to know about Aga and Rayburn in France. He sells used/reconditioned ranges and delivers to France too. http://www.tradcookers.com/If you want an official Aga-Rayburn site for France (as you would if you want a new Rayburn for heating and want to reclaim tax) then go to http://www.agafrance.fr/If you want a dealer in France then go to http://www.paul-gee.com/AGA.htm
f1steveuk
I've had a quick look, very interesting, but I can't see wood burners in there.
Jay
Try here, you can buy them at any Brico type dealer either from stock or to order.
Will
This might be the one you are thinking of (from the British Aga-Rayburn site) - I would think they do it in France too. http://www.rayburn-web.co.uk/57_274.htmSolid fuel Agas have not been made for some time, and, frankly, would not be as good as the Rayburn as you are asking about a back boiler option.Although oil firing (using diesel etc) seems to be the thing of the moment, older solid fuel Rayburns are still available on the used market, which will burn wood, coal, anything. Though, from personal experience, coal is advised if you want to keep them going overnight. As the above post indicates, there are plenty of French equivalents, of varying quality. The Godins are good.

Dave
Rayburn have recently brought out a stove designed to burn wood only. It is a Rayburn model 345W which also provides up to 35,000 BTu/h for central heating which they say can run up to 12 radiators. UK price earlier this year war £4,250.Regards,Dave
