Pat and Don
We need to build a 5 sq m hearth in old materials. Does anyone know of a reclamation centre or source for stone slabs, old tiles or tomettes in the 12, 81, 82 or 46 areas please?
La Guerriere
Worth looking at small ads in local paper. This sort of stuff does get advertised.
Russethouse
I have been told [Www] there is a reclamation yard at Saint-Martin-Laguépie in the Tarn, its on the D 922 over the river bridge and on the right of the hill out of the village towards Cordes-sur-Ciel. There is also one not far from the Brico Depot on the RN road from Gaillac to Albi also in the Tarn, its as far as remember about 5 kms towards Albi near another builder's merchant who does concrete lintels and the like. There are none that I know elsewhere in the area that the poster has cited. Hope that helps
