Thebiga
I have 2 houses on my land and I would like to pretty much knock out the inside and turn it into one habitable space. Is this possible without any planning permission as I will not be changing any of the outside openings, doors, windows etc. I just want to change around bedrooms and kitchens etc. If I do need planning permssion for this which one will I need. Also where can I find the specs to bring things upto so any changes would be up to date.Thankyou
Clair
As far as I know, so long as you are not creating new openings (window, door) or extending existing ones, there should be no paperwork needed, except if the property is situated in a conservation area.More details here. suein56
I have 2 houses on my land ...
So does that mean you pay 2 lots of taxe foncière and, therefore, after renovations not needing any permissions, might be required to pay 2 lots of taxe d'habitation?Sue
