CeeJay
I intend to fit out my kitchen with 11w CFL downlighters. The kitchen has a ceiling area of about 3m x 3m and there will not be any wall cupboards. I guess it may be a matter of individual taste but could anyone tell me if there is some standardisation as regards the spacing of these lights. I have read on another Forum that maybe 1metre apart or perhaps 1.5metres apart in matrix.
Nick Trollope
It is up to you, but I'd use 1M for CFLs.Bear in mind that CFLs may be outlawed soon.
CeeJay
Thanks for that Nick, but why are CFL's about to be banned, I am under the impression that these low energy lights will become fairly standard soon and especially when halogen are not around? Nick Trollope
Mercury, I'd suggest, curse of all flourescents. When I say "about to be", please appreciate that we are talking 4/5 years!
