WendyG
HiIf all else fails I have painted over stain with gloss and then obviously repainted with normal emulsion. It does seem to work in the absence of stain stop.Wendy
BIG MAC
Most oil based paint should do the trick followed by emulsion.
Barbel Bob
Thanks Big Mac, Which one is the oil based now? Glycero or Acrylic? I wish the was a list somewhere for all the different types of paint as i forget all the time!!! Julie
connolls
Hi, I know from experience that after using products purchased in france that I returned to the old favourite of using gloss paint as already suggested. All the other products produced patchy results and in some cases caused the overpainted emulsion paint to peel off when painted...................*^"*^" so back to gloss it was with the usual good results. Good luck.
BIG MAC
Glycero I would imagine is nearest equivalent
