lardy
HIWe have 3 gites in one building and we are thinking about knocking 2 of them into one. We should have no changes to the outside of the building so do we have to have any planning permission to do inside work if we are not extending the size of the property. Will this be a problem if and when we sell sometime as the plans we have when we purchased will be different once we have changed things. If we were to change the size of 2 windows which planning permission would we need to get and is it the sort of thing we may be turned down for? Can we submit our own window sizes or do we need someone else to draw up plans.Thankyou
Théière
Are you in a conservation area near a Chateau?
lardy
Our local Chateau is a fair way away and as far as I know we are not in a conservation area, But I do know that anything further than where our properties are is no build land.
mikeinfrance
Could you work out your plans and just visit the urbanisme dept in your Mairie, they will know whether you need a permis for the work.
