Doodle
The house is already fitted with electric ceramic heaters. I am now converting the loft and want to put one/two heaters up there but due to the logistics, do not want to put in a spur solely for the heaters. I have therefore been looking at wall mounted heaters that are designed to be plugged in. There are quite a few on the market but it occurs to me is there any reason why I can't buy the heaters sold by bricomarche and attach a plug to them and plug into a normal socket. Is there a difference. Any advice would be very welcome.Chris

Nick Trollope
It is interdit to plug in a fixed heater. It must be wired to a dedicated circuit and MCB in the fuseboard.
