CeeJay
I applied for a 'permis' about a month ago, but then last week I started getting flyers from large Building Merchants to remember them when, and if,I actually start the project. So far I have had Lafarge, BigMat, Point P, Mat+ contact me.How do they get this information? Is the application in the public domain and therefore worth a trawl, or more sinister,is someone slipping them this information.Anyone else experienced this or is it just normal practice? Clair
By law, the outline of each application has to be posted outside the mairie.I don't know how the details are obtained, but it could be that a staff member looks up the outlines...there are sites which specialise in selling the details (here for instance)Why not ask at the DDE or the mairie? woolybanana
If you sign an exclusive deal with one or other company, though, there could be a healthy discount involved?
