Badger LX
The current rate for renovation works (5,5%) is in place until midnight 31/12/2010 - in other words "until 2011".I've not seen any mention of an extension beyond that as yet. Assuming that is what this posting means, what is your source?
ericd
Hi Badger, it was one of the Yahoo.fr headlines yesterday. From what I read, Sarkozy has confirmed 5.5% till the end of 2011. NuBeginnings
We brought our property to be our home and our business, we formed a SCI to hold the property as thats more tax efficient then a SARL to run the business we have to pay 19% TVA on all renovation works. Then claim the TVA back which is a slow process and when your paying 10s of thousands of Euros in TVA it ties a fair chunk of your working capital up ;-) But at least at some point we should get it all back !
