CeeJay
I recently bought a door bell with a built-in transformer with a run of about 6 metres from bell push to bell. Unfortunately the chimes are not loud enough to be heard on the next floor up. Is it possible to double up some bell wire to the transformer and continue upstairs and connect to another bell with both bells working?
crossy67
It depends on the current your transformer can supply and the current needed by both bells. I would say probably be ok but for a definitive answer you will need to know both bits of equation.
