frexpt
We have installed a wall hung washbasin in a new bathroom and would like to use chromed plumbing kit. Waste traps are no problem, but I would also like to use rigid chrome pipes for the hot and cold water feeds, which will be exposed below the basin. I have found chromed elbows on "plomberie-pro.fr", but having trouble locating the pipes in France. Any suggestions please?
Babbles
No but if you find them let me know!! the bits I really would like to get sorted is where the water comes out of the wall into the cistern , not a flexible but as you say rigid chrome. frexpt
Thanks nomoss, that's a good start. I am not sure whether the tube-recuit item that the link goes to is what we are looking for, as there is no photo. I did find inox pipes elsewhere on the site, but I don't think these are quite the same as chrome. Unfortunately, the nearest stockist is probably a bit too far from us to pop over and have a look first hand. However, there may be branch in Babbles part of the world.................[:D]
Northender
Just a word of caution , if you are thinking of using soldered joints. You have to file off the chrome down to bare copper in order for the solder to adhere, making the finish somewhat messy. In the past I have found compression joints much better when using chrome.
