Alan Zoff
Anyone know a spares supplier for Kinzo tools, either in France or UK? I have their belt sander. Worked fine until dust got under the cover and choked up the drive - build up of heat melted the drive belt. I am England at moment, travelling to Allier at week-end. I have tried various DIY and hardware stores here without success and have had no luck online, either. Unfortunately, although it uses standard sanding belts, it does not use the notched drive belt employed by more common makes - although I can't be certain what it looked like before it was cooked!I don't remember where I bought it and no longer have any literature for it.Helpful suggestions will be appreciated. sid
I did a quick Google and found a UK site (Toolspot) which says that Kinzo are no longer trading. I guess that's the end of the line for your sander. I think I'd bite the bullet and buy a new one. I've used Marshall and Parsons via their Ebay shop http://stores.ebay.co.uk/M-P-TOOL-SPECIALISTS to buy refurbished DeWalt tools and been very satisfied with the savings and the tools. The postage adds a tidy sum to France because most of the parcels are heavy, but if you're in UK you could save some of that too if you can use a UK address. Ian
Alan, I've used Solent Tools in the UK, for obscure drive belts. They were very helpful.info@solenttools.co.ukBonne chance
