steveinlot
Hi everyone, can anybody tell me what the rules in France are relating to outside pipework ie (sink/waste) being connected to the outside of your house are please. We are looking at fitting a toilet with built in macerator in our loft bedroom which only requires 40mm pipework but the houses around us have no outward pipework other than gutter downpipes. Are there any laws preventing this as my only option is to run them outside unfortunatly. Many thanks in anticipation.Steve.
andyh4
I am sure someone will be along with the details of any regs., but do also please consider what happens when the outside temperature is -15°. Mascerated or not I can see the likelhood of blocked and solid pipes.

If the pipes are run correctly, nothing should stay in the waste pipe.
Nick Trollope
The law requires you to submit a declaration prelable for all exterior changes to the property.Consider why there are no exterior pipes....
