porky
HelloMy ancient ceptic tank has the soil pipe terminating in my bathroom with a Dergo. Should it go through the roof and if so how high and how far from the velux?
powerdesal
The function of a Durgo valve is to let air into the pipe to avoid a vacuum. No air should come out. As long as the valve is at a level above the highest water level in the system ( traps etc ) then it will ( should ) fulfil its purpose.ergo, there is no need for the pipe to go through the roof.
