Loiseau
Not sure where this belongs, but I received a call yesterday from a woman claiming to be connected with EDF and asking questions about the age of my house, of its insulation, and the age of its electrics. Smelling a rat, i asked her what she was selling. Oh, nothing, she said. She enquired diligently about my attic space, of which I told her in all truth I have none. I guessed she was going to try and foist more insulation on me, but i cut her off without letting her get that far.Today i had a similar call from a young man in ENGLISH, with exactly the same sort of questions. I didn't let him go on quite so long before telling him I had already had a call the day before. So I have just done a search on " appels edf combles", and found that it is quite a swindle, so be on your guard.http://droit-finances.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-4109584-arnaque-partenaire-edf-bleu-cielSorry, can't make live links from the iPad.(I've done it for you - mod Clair)angela
Loiseau
Thanks Clair!Sorry, should have said that it seems to be a scheme to get you to sign up for a loan in order to finance improvements.Angela
