frankieblue
Hi, My kitchen is miles from the main 200l chauffe eau so I have installed a small 15l chauffe eau sur evier above the kitchen sink. I have for safety reasons installed agroupe desecurite as well. However there is a huge amount of back pressure- everytime I turn on a tap / flush toilet / close a tap- no matter where in the house, there is a big gush of water into the white cup of the GDS. Any ideas please? (The main 200l tank is also equipped with a GDS and a pressure reducer)
AnOther
Have you got a pressure reducer on the kitchen unit and what is it set for ?
frankieblue
No, there isn't one on the small 15l tank - I guess that's the next step!I find it strange how the threads on the supply/feeds on the chauffe eau are only 15/21 whereas the GDS are all 20/27, so it makes me wonder if the GDS is needed on a small tank. All the promotional materials declare how neat and tidy these tanks are and that they can fit inside a kitchen cupboard but by the time you add the GDS, pressure reducing valve, 32mm evacuation pipe etc the 'sundries' take up more space than the tank!
