Actually if you are on a fact finding visit you might try Leroy Merlin because they for sure have a big display and information point with all the different kit for just about everything to go with this sort of thing and if your French is up to it you should find it interesting.

Yes, I like the technology but it's all pointless at those prices, you reach break even just as it breaks down and needs replacing.  The thermodynamics unit also doesn't need the big the unit and fan noise, just a panel of refrigerent about the size of a panel rad.  Really is a fridge in reverse.
