f1steveuk
I need to replace a 1/4 round caillebotis de douche, or wooden duckboard in my corner shower cubicle, and having searched EVERYWHERE, it appears you can't simply buy one.I have some deck Teak, so I could repair, or even make one, but it's a quick/short term fix so I'd rather just buy one. Has anyone seen these for sale, and where? As I say, quater radius. the two sides are 27 inches each, and at the radius from the corner point is 32 inches.Though I sense the jigsaw coming out!! ventodue
A neighbour's been trying to find some for her shower, and so far she's drawn a blank on finding any pre-assembed for sale. Proposed solution at the mo' is to get some made up down at the local boatyard. But it ain't cheap ...
alittlebitfrench
Quick google I found that...http://www.tousergo.com/antiderapant-douche-bain/247-caillebotis-de-douche-antiderapant-d-angle-8026463002735.htmlIt is 4cm's smaller. Is that the type of thing you mean ?
Pierre ZFP
I need something like that too but at that price the jigsaw is definitely coming out.I was thinking of making one out of some of those plastic decking boards rather than wood
f1steveuk
Yes it would seem an afternoon with the JigSaw. I saw the one in the link (89 Euros!!!!!), which is what made me think of using the Teak decking I have, as it's the same! At least if I make it, it will be solid and not crudely stapled together. Obviously come with the cubicle kit, and not sold seperately
NickP
The price in that link is mind boggling. I don't like "duck boards" and in my showers I have used anti slip tape, very efficient and easy to apply.
