Permission for land owners to have a small campsite

I seem to recall that, if you are a land owner (in France), you are allowed a certain number of campers on your land without planning permission.  I have been searching this Forum and the web but cannot find the refernece to it.

Can someone help?

In the paaragraph:D. 331-3

Les règles relatives à l'autorisation d'installation ou de travaux pour

l'aménagement d'un terrain de camping et de caravanage sont fixées par l'article

R. 442-11 du code de l'urbanisme.

it practically says you have the consult the Mairie and the Code de l'Urbanisme.

You may find it is much more difficult that you counted on.
