Dickie Posted May 3, 2005 Share Posted May 3, 2005 Does any one know if a termite report is now required when selling your house in Charente (16), we have sold our house privately and have had the asbestos one done and at that time we were told the other one was not required..but it seems the rules may have changed.Any ideas please. Mikew Posted May 6, 2005 Share Posted May 6, 2005 Looked on the Marie notice board today, Termite inspections, arranged and paid for by the seller, are mandatory for the whole of the Charente departement. jonnyd Posted May 10, 2005 Share Posted May 10, 2005 We are buying a house and even though it will have a complete renovation and totally new roof we still have to have the expertise termites. It seems that is law in our region regardless of the state of the house, it just seems to be one of thosethings that has to be done. Hope this helps.
