This year's Neuvil'en Jazz festival starts on Saturday 2 July with a free prelude in our neighbouring village of Chabournay. Music will be provided by the Groovin' Quintet and, weather permitting, the concert will be outdoors in the recreation area behind the village hall. You are welcome to bring a picnic, and the municipality will be offering everyone an apéritif.

Renowned trumpeter Stéphane Belmondo will be giving a master class, concluding with a free concert at Neuville's public library at 6.00pm on Tuesday 19 July.

The main festival starts on Thursday 21 July for three evenings of free "apéro concerts" in the Neuvil'en Jazz Village, place Aristide Briand, next to the Majestic theatre. On Thursday, the Maxime Plisson Quartet "In colors" will be followed by the African Salsa Orchestra. On Friday, the Mystère Trio Quartet (!), will be followed by the Antoine Hervier Trio with guest artist the violinist Fiona Monbet, with their homage to Oscar Peterson and Stéphane Grappelli. On Saturday, the outside concerts will be given by Audrey et les faces B and the Thomas Savy Quartet, whilst there will be a special concert inside the Majestic theatre by the Costel Nitescu Quartet (entrance €15, tickets from the Tourist Office on 05 49 54 47 80).

including fast food from the Restau'Jazz, and a special festival menu concocted by the gastronomic local

restaurant le Saint-Fortunat.

The festival will conclude on Sunday 24 July with the now traditional "Picnic in the Park" next to the Jazz Village, and will be accompanied by music from Old Jazz and Faby Médina ant the Pacific Big Band.
