Being priced out of our local market by Russians and Arabs. Nothing against them per se, but we locals can hardly afford anything in our own neighbourhood nowadays. Went to an agent last week : all 8 apartments in a prestigous new block have been bought off plan by Russians. The original patrician house has not even been knocked down yet! But then we have the nouveau riche coming in and paying whatever sum is asked - i.e. up to and beyond 1,000,000.-- for a three bed apartment, never mind a house!
