ENGLISH BAR IN LA COQUILLE

Just opened yesterday La Poste Bar in la Coquille, just off the RN21. New english owners who are very nice and intend to do food and live music, something we miss. We enjoyed our first night down there so if you're passing give them a try.

We live near the airport just off the RN21, how far is this bar?

Really miss - live music, Fish and chips, Roast beef dinner, and interesting people to talk to.

If you miss live music you might like to know that I am starting a musicians workshop in a hotel in Bourdielles starting in June.
Hoping to attract all the local musicians to get up and do a bit.
It will be running on a weekly basis.

I was thinking about British bar owners in rural France when reading an article in the The Telegraph last week about these Nippy and Nigel people. (I'd never seen them before, only come across reference to them on the Forum.) Running a bar/restaurant, even a relatively successful one, is a very expensive endeavour in France, isn't it? Does anyone know of Brits who've made any money, or even a living, running one?
