Intensive French Language Schools/courses

Hi we live in France and are moving to the Vendee.  As part of our holiday next summer would wish to enrol in an immersion type course for both my wife and I and who are differing levels of expertise say within Provence or near to Avignon so we could then spend the other week exploring our favourite area the Rhone Valley.

Does anyone have any personal recommendations please?

You might try asking the British Consulate at Marseilles which covers the are http://www.britishembassy.gov.uk/servlet/Front?pagename=OpenMarket/Xcelerate/ShowPage&c=Page&cid=1064571802395 They gave us a list which I have since lost but there is a one week course run at the University in Montpelier which is who they use. It runs outside of term time and also offers different forms of accomodation.

I have attended two courses (Beginner and Intermediate) at this school: http://parlons-en-provence.com/   I thought that they were excellent.  Class sizes are 5/maximum 6.

They are 20 minutes from Avignon.  They have classes in the morning and then excursions in the afternoon.  Have a look at their site and if you want more info. pm me.
