Celestine Posted July 1, 2008 Share Posted July 1, 2008 Hi there, Hope Im in the right section!!Am trying to plan a holiday and fancy the Cote D'Azur but have been told by several people that although its not that expensive to stay at a caravan park, the price of the food and drink in the restaurants is very expensive and a coffee could cost upto 6 euros! I live in The Vendée and can generally get a 3 course meal for around 12 euros including a carafe of wine. Is it just certain touristy areas that are very dear and if we stayed away from seafront restaurants could still find a good deal? Can anyone advise me please?
