Having consulted several books and web sites we are still confused as to the exact charges payable in  addition to agent's fees on the purchase of a property.  Can anyone let us know where we can find a definitive answer.   We are considering a property together with agent's fees of 160,000 euros and would like to be sure of the additional fees payable.

Just looked at this site to calculate notaires' fees.  What does Honoraires de négociation TTC mean? Is that estate agents' fees (inclusive of tax)?

That is the notaire's sales commission. If you buy privately or through an agent immobilier you should not pay that.
