Weedon
The 2 i's coffee bar in Soho was the place to be seen in the late 1950s, early 1960s. Unfortunately, I saw it but didn't go in. Too timid in those days.http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=18CyVFP-ceA

Weedon
It was also this day in 1971 that Satchmo died. http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=TbHAvBfmvFM&feature=relatedand....6th July in 1189 Henry ll King of England (he of the "who will rid me of this turbulent priest" fame) died at Chinon and was buried at Fontevraud Abbey near Chinon. I do believe he said that famous phrase in French. He was born in Le Mans you know, just off the Mulsanne Straight although he was not a fan of motor racing as far as history records.[:(]

Weedon
Musics fine but didn't know what to make of the video. Someone left their shopping trolley in the middle of the motorway...was that France I wonder? Bit of bad parking on the top floor of the multi-storey as well. And Bruce canoodling with his daughter. I don't know what to make of this world sometimes."Ok...nobody about yet," he says peering over the parapet, "I do like these singers, I think that it's like when my kids used to take the michael when I played Abba years ago and now they like them more than me." SO take that!
Frenchie
I loved that song Weedon ! beautiful.Listen to this, I don't know if you liked the old Genesis, but that is a lovely story.. and Phil Collin's looks are hilarious now , in the 21st century................. [:D]Even though there was a time when I would wear hippy clothes myself !! [:-))]I showed the video to my son, he could not believe the guy with the scarf down to the floor was Phil Collins !!!!![:D]A trick of the tail
